I am not sure how people here do things but no matter what I try it goes no where. joyoflinux have suggested to install CVs version - it got no where, someoneelse suggested to remove .htaccess - go a bit further but loaded with unfound features. here is where I am stuck: sounds like I am becoming a complainer - wish I could just prais you all over the place - Am I not getting something about this forum or support? Hi
I use Powweb.com as well and I could not figured out how to install it. One of the guys here were kind enough to install it for me. I'll let him know... or he may even read this message. I'ts kinda pain on the ass for a non programmer.... but hey it's worth a few bucks to have someone do it
I still need help with the remote... or postnuke or whatever it takes to have users register automatically. I haven't the faintest idea how to do it.
Well, good luck.
See my site:

Thank you catbert
I don't know why this isn't made in such a way that within the basic requirements they give (apache, php etc.) everything will be included and why help isso sporadic. I have ended up sending them a letter stating I want to do the same as you did (or donate even regardless their doing so assuming it works) - so far got no reply either.... oh well, will see.
On enother note i have visited your gallery and got so incredibly excited about the art work and the way it is layed out on your gallery. It is just incredible!!!!. I am not in themarket to buy art right now but if I did you will probably will rank one of the highest on my list.
One thing though I missed and this is a place for comments. It would have given me an immense pleasure towrite the above in your gallery for others to see it too. I am a landscape architect got to it because didn't see my painting as a teenager worthy enough... but I know good art when I see it.
Thanks for intruducing me to you gallery

Hi
You know, Gallery is offered on a free basis - not shareware that times out on you if you don't pay up. You also don't have to shell out cash up front before you even know if it's going to work for you, so please -- go easy with the criticism regarding help.
I don't know of ANYONE that is paid to sit here and answer all the questions that get asked on a daily basis. I do it because I happen to really like Gallery and can't afford to make a monetary donation at present (and even if I had donated money I'd probably still be here trying to help, because it's a nice thing to do). Helping in this forum is my way of thanking Bharat and the Gallery team for what I consider to be a really great program.
(Besides, if I can save them time then they can be working on Gallery 2!)
I see this over and over again on a variety of forums - people complain that their questions aren't getting answered fast enough. All I can say is - be patient. Sometimes it might take a day to get your question answered. Be precise with what you ask - use a title for your topic that gives a clue as to the problem. That in itself is a help, because someone who knows the answer to your problem might skip over your post if the title is vague.
And like everyone else has said - GO THRU THE README file, search the posts here, check out the User Guide, The FAQ and everything else BEFORE asking your questions. Be polite - and remember somebody volunteered some of their own valuable time to find an answer to your problem.
Good luck to you both. I hope someone here is able to assist you.

Hi Gail
went thtough your site the other day and was really impressed!! what does this has to do with your comment - maybe notheing other than showing interest in all the files you have mentioned, the comments and the people behind them. This is just the beginning. People like you and Baharat and other deserves all the appreciation and respect I feel for them though when you see the requests I have made tand the response I received in numerous posts you can understand wtwo things 1-I have some what of an histerical nature 2-I am under a lot of other pressurs to get moving. I have weritten to Baharat that my donation is guaranteed and still got no response. My complains may be a tud too much (something to regret) but the broblem is still standing. How would you feel in my shoes?
With much (very much) respect

Ruvy,
You sent your request for help by private message on the 18th at 11:23 AM.
As I clearly state on the Donation Based Support page, I will get back to you within 72 hours. I have a very full life at the moment and have to prioritize Gallery support accordingly.
I did receive your 3 private messages and will get back to you via private message.

In response to the gallery....of mine
Actually you can visit http://www.ross-gallery.com and see some of the art I made. Unfortunately most of them are either sold or in private sollections.
Thank you for your comment, it's good to know someone out there actually knows 'good' abstract art. <G>
Hey, I'll let my guy know if he's interested to install your side. I have to warn you, that it's gonna be just a basic stuff and you're on your own after that.... unless you want to pay hourly for service. It's a lot of stuff you have to know and overcome in order to install it. My eyes 'glazed' over as I was reading the instructions <S>... so I knew this is not for me to do. Other than that, the program is super easy to use. I still have to customise the page that's not a big deal.
So, sit back and wait until someone contact you
Am sure it will be soon.

Hi CatBert
went back to your gallery - same joy as before but didn't finde a place to add a comment. I will visit there from time to time just to enjoy the beauty and if I see a place for comments I will add. For the time being, you are welcome to use my comment any way you want - I don't think it is of unusual importance but it describes heart felt joy from seeing yourwork
thanks again
