I recently upgraded to Fedora from RedHat 9. I saved the albums directory just like I was told to do on FAQ D.1. I tried to run the configuration wizard, but I got an access forbidden error. I made sure the permissions were fine: they are. I ran configure.sh, and, just to make sure, switched everything in the setup folder to 777. Access was still denied! It said that I did not have permission to access the configuration wizard, even though I see that it is owned by apache and permission is set to 777. Thanks, |

[Fri Jan 09 11:07:07 2004] [crit] [client 192.168.1.1] (13)Permission denied: /var/www/html/gallery/setup/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable, referer: http://edwardrice.isa-geek.net/gallery/What does this mean?
By the way, I did get that it has something to do with the .htaccess file. I already added the three lines that allow you to use allowoverride to httpd.conf.
Thanks,
