in File Permissions I tried to make a change and get this.

Oh no! Your server needs a configuration change in order for you to hide photos! Ask your server administrator to enable mod_rewrite and set AllowOverride FileInfo Options to fix this.

I can't find a "mod_rewrite"?

Help Please.

What we are doing is trying to use "Gallery3" for Art Submissions for our Art Gallery.
This is where an Artist will submit their art on line for us to review and rate so some of the view permissions would be nice to be able to turn off to the public.

I'm in the process of re-writing the "Rate" mod to maybe a 6 or 10 star rating for this. I'll let everyone in the Mod's are know if or when I get it working.

You can't find it because it isn't a G3 setting. You will need to check your apache settings for this. Google "enable mod rewrite" and you will find plenty of items pointing you in the right direction.
