Avatar/Tags required/Keywords/More buttons/Theme changer button

Hi i`m new in web development and ect. so i find gallery project very useful but i want to add some more things to my web gallery so this is what i`m searching for:
How to change profiles avatar(i want to give to any user option to change avatar)
How to make when uploading images tags to be required(so people can more easily find certain picture type)
How to add keywords to my site so when u type in google to shows up
How to add theme changer function and also make custom theme(i guess there is some guide for that)
And last how to add more buttons i mean buttons like contact me or something like that

It is done via: https://en.gravatar.com/ so if they set up their gravater and use the same email address they it should show up on your site as well as others that use the global avatar.

Education to your users or you can add some jquery javascript to the upload form to improve the UI of the form. Start a new thread if you want some help with this.
