Custom Fields, searching by three characters or less.

hi all,
I use Custom Fields
I have photo named: "usa lake", in description: "usa", in tag: "usa, usa123".
When I trying to search "usa" there is no results, when I trying search "usa123" the photo is showing in search result.
Can anyone help?
