Gallery3 adding tags to images already in an album

When I had a Gallery2 installation I used remote to add images with tags and descriptions. For some reason I can no longer get remote to work with my new gallery 3 install. So my question is how can I add searchable tags to images that are already in an album that I imported using the server add module.

Also will there be a new remote created to add images to gallery3? This was one of the best tools for gallery. I find it hard to believe that its not in the works for version 3.

The http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:Modules:captionator module will work.
If the items had tags to the EXIF/IPTC data on the image it would be imported automatically by those respective modules.

There is a bunch of different methods to add items to G3:

Dave, I have installed captionator but what I am really looking for is some sort of way to add tags to images that are already in my albums.
I use to be able to do this with Gallery Remote but I cant seem to get that to work for version 3 of my gallery.

Dave, I screwed up and now have the captionator working. But I was wondering how you can add description tags to new images you are uploading if the gallery remote option is not available?

I have not tried all the other clients, one might have the option to add the description prior/during upload:
http://codex.galleryproject.org/Category:Gallery_3:Other_Clients

If the description is embedded in the image then the EXIF/IPTC module(s) will add that info automatically for you.
