I find that certain results on a Search page or when opening an Album that is set to display only Tagged photos doesn't open all the resulting thumbnail resize photos. And it is related to specific Albums within the search. Use this page as the example, which opens an album setup to display Tag results: http://www.f-106deltadart.com/photo_gallery/index.php/tag_albums/album/79/572480

1. The first 2 thumbnails are photo's in album '48th-FIS' and clicking either of those 2 thumbnails successfully opens up the photo resize page and displays the resize photo.

2. The 3rd thumbnail however, which is in album '437th-FIS' will open the resize page, but does not display the resize photo.

3. The remaining thumbnails in the above link are in different album names, but all work ok as in #1 above, opening the resize page and displaying the photo.

This is happening on several albums on my site, it only happens when using the Search or Tag results (going direct to the albums works fine), and I cannot find anything wrong or different between any of the albums.

Any ideas?

See if it is theme/fancybox related.

I disabled Fancybox, removed it, reinstalled it, configured it several different ways and no change. And still only certain albums act this way.

And what's strange is that even if I copy/paste the URL, which at this point has nothing to do with the tag or search, because it is displaying the actual album URL such as http://www.f-106deltadart.com/photo_gallery/index.php/437th-FIS/572480_572481_572420 but if I copy past that url into a new window, it STILL does not display the resize photo. It does it in FF and IE.

What else can I look at? I've gone through all the modules disabling them one at a time and can't figure it out. AND, even if I create a NEW album and move the 'problem' photos into it, they STILL don't display. Could there be some property of the photos themselves?

You did not mention if you changed the theme or if you actually tried without fancybox.

Could be the EXIF or IPTC data. Just guessing here as I don't see a photo page that does not work.

Dave, so everything is working for you? When you click the link http://www.f-106deltadart.com/photo_gallery/index.php/tag_albums/album/79/572480 and then click on the 3rd thumbnail titled '572480 572481 572420', the page opens and you see the photo for '572480 572481 572420'?

No. But I would like to see the behavior with the default settings with no extras. No customized theme and no extra modules. I'm trying to help you figure out what the issue is as the page does not complete (if you look at the source ) it just dies before the </html> tag.

What does your theme do after rendering the title <h1> tag?

your source wrote:
<div id="g-item">
<div id="g-info">
<h1>572480 572481 572420</h1>
</div>

I found an errant </div> and others say it's working again. There are now 6 thumbnails in the above linked page. Could you try that link again and see if all 6 thumbs open up?
