Hi,

I had a album with about 30 subalbums. I wanted to split this 30 albums in 5 groups. So I created 5 new albums, opened the "Organize album" view and moved the old 30 albums via drag and drop into the 5 new albums I created before. The result is weired and I can't use the album anymore.

It seems, that the basic structure is as I intended: there are 5 albums and when I open one of them, I see the albums I moved there. When I open now one of these old albums, I see the content which should be there (mainly some sub-albums again), but none of them has a album cover anymore. The breadcrumb is weired as well, it has much more entries as there are actual levels. Even names of picures are show as breadcrumb parts, like:

(..something before)USA-2012->120 San Francis…->030 Pismo Beach->050 seals->IMG 1429->070 Carmel->090 Santa Cruz->IMG 1557->140 Alcatraz->IMG 2053->170 Yosemity->340 Tuscon->IMG 1350->IMG 1482->IMG 1770->IMG 2468->IMG 3995->IMG 1351->IMG 1484->IMG 1771->IMG 2469->IMG 3996->Utah

This is one breadcrumb which should actually look like:
(..something before)->USA-2012->Utah

I can't open the photos anymore. The URL contains the same (or similar, but definitly much to many entries).

When I open the organize album view again, the tree displayed on the left looks fine and as intended. The basic album tree information seems to be stored correctly.

Any chance to fix this without deleting all albums and starting from scratch?

Any idea why this happened? Even if I delete all the albums and start again, I fear this might happen again when I have the idea to restructre an album.

Try the fix your gallery task on the maintenance section.

Thanks, this helped a lot. It made it better, but did not solve everything. The weired breadcumbs and URLs are gone. I see more photos, but not all.

I found out the reason: it seems that the folder structure in the filesystem below /gallery3/var/[albums|resizes|thumbs]/... reflects the album structure. So if the albums are restructured, the folders in the file system are moved also. Is this right? In my case it seems that this wasn't done. I manually moved the three folders for one of the albums and after that the photos of this album are visible now. What is the best to proceed? Just move everything in the filesystem on the expected place? Or is there again a job which I should use instead?
