Problems with Uploaders

Following upgrade to 3.0.4 the flash uploader is unusable due to the browse button being obstructed by a blank white strip.
When I activate the html uploader that also shows as a blank box. Reinstalling the module made no difference.
I am surviving with server add but that's no use to members. Advice please.

It seems to have been a browser problem. Both forms are now working in Chrome and IE but not very well in Firefox.
