Hello, I'm using G 3.0.4. I have 737 albums and just over 30 000 pictures. Everything was ok untill today.
I've tried to create new album. My path is gallery/magaines/2010 and I wanted to create a new album. But the path of the new album is gallery/magaines/2010/2011/album. and of course the mesage that this album is not writable.
using forum search I've read about Fix your Gallery, ran it, but that didn't help. I read about rescue module. i've installed it, activated, but strangely it's not in my maintaince page.
I've tried to add new album again, but there is problem with pictures path now - it' s llery/magaines/2010/2011/test/022/023, so the pictures is in the picture?
i've deleted this album and now on the page all the albums from gallery/magaines/2010 are empty. in my site ftp i see that the pictures are there.
I'm on Linux hosting.
I hope that someone can help me with my problem
Thanks

Well, I have exctly the same problem over and over, I've tryed everything you can imagine, chmod 0777 chown to apache user, check php.ini configuration, change .htaccess rewritte rules. Then I reinstalled gallery3 again and started migrating the pictures, and sudenly it happened again! From nowhere, from outerspace! I got over 244,599 photos and I am about 15 years experience programmer who doesn't want to spend an whole week solving the problem, so I'm downgrading to Gallery2 and maybe to some other similar project. Gallery3 is faulty, may be a wrong chosen PHP framework for the job, or who knows, but never get that issue with version 2, plus I'm missing lots of features. So good luck.
