allow users to only edit photos they upload in a shared album

Is there a module or another way I can allow registered users to edit photos, but ONLY those photos the registered user has uploaded?

Funny, i was just about to post the same question!

I've disabled editing on my site because it seems that any registered user is currently allowed to edit (and even delete!) any other user's photos!

I am looking for this also,
It seems strange this is like this because I want users who upload to also rename and add a description to their photos.

But when you upload it just uploads and doesnt give the option to add additional information, only people with edit rights can rename and add a description which seems a bit silly.

Is there a workaround for this?
