Help me understand Server Add!

Hi Gang!

So, here are my confusions for Server Add module:

1. Obviously Server Add needs a pre-created folder (via FTP) to exist to be able to define an authorized image source path.
Do I need to do this (create folder then add path) for each album I want to create?

if you are trying to return to G2 from G3, just point your G2 Local Server Upload Path to that of your gallery3/var/albums directory(full server path)
G2 will actually add all your photos, creating new albums for each directory and adding the photos contained in those directories.
The only thing you'll lose is any descriptions, captions, comments etc.

So G2 will do this without any folder modification? In other words G3 will no break?
