How to adjust preview box

Hi everyone, as you can see from the attachment, the preview box of a photo (the black line) is much bigger than the picture itself(the red line). Does anyone know how to make the size of box automatically adapted to the picture? Thanks in advance.

I don't think that the designer of the theme anticipated thumbs to be that size.
One would have to create a new theme (copy the default) and make some adjustments to the css and possibly other files to achieve what you are after.
Perhaps another theme has what you are after. Have you tried others?

Dave, I've tried some other themes, but didn't find any of it can match it. I'll try to make some adjustments to the theme files. Hope I'm lucky
