Problem with rebuild images

Hi,

i updated to Gallery3 and imported gallery2.

the Problem is that not all images get thumbs.
i tried to rebuild images. some images dont work.

i installed g3 fresh and tried without import from g2. same problem:

Make sure you are not using GD as a image toolkit.
Admin -> settings ~> graphics

Does the rebuild items module help?

it is activated:
ImageMagick version 6.6.0-4 is available in /usr/bin

If i use the rebuild module and "reset" pictures (mark the for thumbnail creation) some pictures will be processed, others not.

still the same problem

mark as dirty:
Rebuild Images Success Updated: 1 image. Total: 2.
then:
Rebuild Images Success Updated: 0 images. Total: 1.

Then your host has some limit to the size or time used to process the image.
Are they big?

384x512 44,0 kb for example.

yes.
http://pic.nodestiny.de/

you can use all pictures w/o thumb. for example the "famous" pic and the dragonkite pictures in album "Drachen"

you can click them for full size. but creating thumbs is not possible

perhaps your image toolkit does not support these .png images
It should but I'm using Image Magic 6.7.6-4

hmm...
it's not working on .jpg, too. :)

i dont know. But i think its a 1&1 Problem.

i have to stay on gallery 2 or search other online gallery :(

i have done that.

if i woulnd use these settings, g3 is NOT working at all.

but there are no infos with GD or Imagemagick.

I have to same problem, "Rebuild Images" in the maintanance screens just hang with the pop-up saying "Starting up.." or sometimes "Updated: 0 images. Total 66"
