serveradd: expand subfolder for serveradd on ipad

Hello, on our longer vacation i would like to create a picture gallery with my ipad while on tour. therefore i want to upload the pictures via ftp to my serveradd directory. afterwards i want to create the new album via serveradd and the just via ftp created subfolder. it would all work perfectly, if i could navigate to the serveradd subfolders via ipad. Unfortunately this seems not to be possible neither with Safari, nor Atomic Web nor Mercury. It's not possible to double click to expand the folder structure. Is there a workaround or anything i could do? I also downloaded the viGallery App on ipad, unfortunately it's not possible to add a subfolder via serveradd... Any help would be appreciated. Hello, did you solve the issue?
If not, I think that gallery3 developers could provide a patch... this is only a javascript to be changed.
