Unable to Login with Internet Explorer 9

I chnaged my webhost and as a result have had to reinstall Gallery 3.03 from scratch. When using Internet explorer 9.0 I am unable to login. I have tried using the compatabilty mode without success. I am using the Clean canvas theme , the updated one by Floridave. I can login if using Chrome.Also with Internet expolrer 8

Could some help with this problem please.

As always any help greatfully received.

Lets see if it a theme issue first.
Does IE9.0 work with the wind theme?

Hi

I changed to the wind theme but same problem. I have also lost the menu items except home. When I click on the login link I get the log in box . After I enter the information the login link still shows.

IE9 works on several gallery installs I have with no issues. Have you made any modifications or added any modules?

I'd continue your troubleshooting by using the default wind theme, and then disable all the modules that aren't core, and see what happens, if successful, start adding back modules until it breaks again... Then we can go from there.

Got you URL but no login info.
Anyway in you css you have:

/* Login menu ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ */
#g-login-menu {
display: none;
}

so the login link does not show.
change none to block and you should be good to go.

I'm surprised that it would not show for the wind theme or did you not try it?

I have PM'd you again with the log in info. I have the login button showing but nothing happens under Internet explorer 9.0

works for me:

I logged in, created an album and uploaded a image.

So it must be your client/browser.

Hi

Thanks again for your help. I suspect that there is something amiss with my Internet explorer settings, unfortunately I cannot find what it is. As I said I can log in with Explorer 8 and Chrome.

I do not know what is happening . I cannot login even with Internet explorer 8 unless I uncheck the security settings Protected mode Off. When I do this I can login. Is there a possibility that htaccess or php.ini needs sorting out.

Sorry to keep on with this but it is important for the proper running of Gallery3 which I like.
