Importing albums from G1orG2

Im using 1&1 shared server as my host. I am unable to import albums from G1 and G2. I checked the config.php file and used the file system path but still cannot find the albums .php file anywhere on the directory or mysql db's. Their tech support called 3x and they do not know any help would be great! |

Don't understand.
If you're importing from G1, I think albums.php is defaulted to the main Gallery directory.
If you're importing from G2, I again think you just need the path to the main Gallery directory.
NOTE: You need the PATH, not the url.
Let's assume that you have a working G1/G2 install AND a working G3 install AND that they're on the same server. (If either of these are not true, you're going to have to address that first.)
Activate the sitemaps module and go to the "XML sitemap" option from the G3 admin menu. At the top of the page, it lists a path; that is (should be) the path to your G3 install. That's not what you're looking for, but the path to your G1/G2 install should be similar; normally, just the last part is different.
After you get it sorted, you can deactivate the sitemaps module.
