Have downloaded the most current stable packages, but appears to have degraded upload jpg performance. I have reviewed much of the postings and believe I have a php.ini config problem but after a few endless days I am at my end. Could someone have a look see at my info.php and possible suggest some modifications.
Thanks.
Bob

A workaround is to install the Server Add module. I made a folder called Gallery/import and ftp'd the pics there. It has to be outside of the var folder. Then do Add-> Server Add and navigate to that folder.

I did download the Server-Add module, but was using the /var directory I created when Galleery3 was installed. The result, using the original /var, was same stall after 50 or so downloads. I will try your suggestion tonight and update this post. Many thanks.

Make modifications i.e. created a dir in root /img_raw, than went to Server-Add and added. Got as far as 283 of 587. I could see a gradual slow down as the count grew and finally stopped at 283. I 'think' it may be a memory config/management problem, but I am somewhat confused between the multiple .htaccess files and the php.ini file.

Thanks,
Bob

I'm seeing this with Server Add too, by the way.
