Work since quite a long time with Gallery 3 and have actually more then 6.000 pictures in several albums. Look at www.travelfoto.biz
Suddenly cannot upload any more pictures.
The number (description) of my photographs arrives in the album but without photo.
Tried this in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (worked until now all the times with Ubuntu) and did another test via Explorer (Microsoft).
Also tried to remove some photographs and upload new ones without any positive result.
My server has absolutely enough capacity, this cannot be the problem.

What is happening? It cannot be a maximum I have reached I suppose. Ever heard that there is a maximum on files, is that true?

Somebody an idea what happens?

Thanks in advance

Some hosts impose limits that you might be running into. Total File size, file quantity, DB size, DB query count, memory limit to name a few.

Hello Dave,
Thanks a lot trying to help me.
Unfortunately I do not succeed. Looking for

Total File size, file quantity, DB size, DB query count, memory limit to name a few.

but I cannot find it. I am looking in usr/share/gallery3/var/logs (see print screen attached)

Apparently it is my fault but can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Problem still exist: uploading pictures the number arrives but no photo in the little frame.

http://gallery.menalto.com/files/logs.jpg
so nothing from 2012?
Delete the logs or save. upload an image and post the text file as an attachment that is created.
try a different image toolkit: Admin -> Settings -> Graphics

Those would be host imposed limits and you would have to see if they have them imposed. Looking at gallery code for this would yield nothing.
