adding a link to gallery

I am looking to ad a link that will be accessable from any page from the gallery that will link back to my main website page or to perhaps another page of my choice. Perhaps this link can go beside the log in button. Which file would i need to edit for this? is it the albums.php? and would regular html work, or do i need to use special php code?

tessa, have a look in html_wrap/ - there you'll find the headers and footers used. They are plain html.

And for an excellent guide on how to customize them, look at http://www.eclecticpixels.com
