Newbie/Forgetting UserName & Having Trouble Resetting it.

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): http://www.chibstudio.com/gallery2/main.php
Gallery version: 2?
Apache version:?
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):?
Graphics Toolkit:?
Operating system: Mac 10.5.8
Web browser/version (if applicable): Firefox

Okay, I haven't tried logging into gallery for a very very long time, but I wrote down the username and password to get into http://www.chibstudio.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.UserAdmin&g2_subView=core.UserLogin&g2_return=%2Fgallery2%2Fmain.php...... Apparently I wrote down the wrong one or something, because I can't get in. I don't know if it was the username and/or the password that is wrong and I've got it a few times that I would receive a message saying it's been reset/sent to your e-mail, but there is nothing in my e-mail. I remember trying to make it so I had one user on there (I suppose that would be the admin) and I've tried looking up how to change the password for that... (got something that said "login.txt" upload to site...) I had written down MySQL Users is (chibstud_)Chi ...dunno if that will help anyone... (and I never use obvious passwords, so don't try passwords like "Chi" if you want to try hacking into it...)
I know this is probably something simple... but would anyone care to take the time to help me step by step? I use siteground to host my inital website... I only know a little CSS codes and I'd be happy to give you the info above that has "?" as an answer, but I don't know where to get to that information... So all that being said... you'll probably going to either have to do a lot of work showing me or dumb down terms for me to follow.... I'm sorry... -__-

Try the password that's stored in config.php

Try checking your email as I just sent a "reset password" email for the 'admin' user.

Try this:
