importing from gallery2 - did not preserve highlight photos for albums

I've searched and browsed the forums and the documentation, but could not see anyone mentioning this issue before.

I imported from gallery2.3.1 into gallery3.0.1 with 48k images and nearly 600 albums. Each has a highlight photo manually set in gallery2. These highlighted photos were no longer 'set' in the new install - each album had its first image set as the highlight.

The gallery3 install is 'right beside' the gallery2 install. Graphics lib is gd. Intel Mac.

Are the highlights being preserved for everyone else when importing from gallery2?

I can file a bug if necessary, just point me in the right direction...

Ah, yes, please file a bug. I just deleted all photos in my G3 install and re-imported them. I saw during the process that highlights are suppose to be imported. That didn't happen. Now, if you were using the "custom thumbnail" module in G2, I'd expect that to probably not work as there's no analog for that in G3 yet.

I was/am not using the "custom thumbnail" module in G2.
Mine is a stock install with only a non-default theme.

I'm having the same problem. The G2 importer sets the highlight for the top level albums and the level below that. Level 3 on highlights remain as the first picture in the album. When the importer goes through the highlight portion of the script it goes through the first 48 highlights in order then it skips large quantities. ie. 1-48, 96, 280, 360, 480, 960...Done. No errors are reported.

I have 91K photos and 980 Albums. I have tried with all modules turned off (besides G2 import) as well as ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick processors. Results are the same.

Not sure if this helps or not but I figured I would add my 2 cents.
